The carpet-underlays.co.uk website is owned and operated by Spectrum floor-site Ltd, a business formed back in 1982 as Spectrum Carpets with the name being ultimately changed, not only to reflect the move to on-line sales, but also an expanded product range. In 2014 we took advantage of an opportunity to more than double the size of our Saltash warehouse in the beautiful county of Cornwall.
Our carpet underlay warehouse carries vast stocks from all leading makers including Tredaire, Cloud 9 , Duralay, AirLuxe, Silenzia and more. Tredaire underlay ranges include Dreamwalk, Softwalk, Ambience, Tredaire Colours Red underlay. Cloud 9 underlay includes Connoisseur 10, Connoisseur 8, Caviar & Crystal, plus Cloud 9 Contract and Super Contract. Products from Duralay include the Heatflow underlay range for use with underfloor heating plus Treadmore underlay for extra heavy wear areas.
Our warehouse in South East Cornwall sits adjacent to the main A38 trunk road which in turn leads to the M5 Motorway, providing access to most of England, Wales and Scotland with a next working day delivery service on applicable products. During 2015 we acquired another adjacent warehouse to enable us to further increase our stock levels and the number of products we offer. In addition to our base in Cornwall, we have distribution and storage hubs at strategic areas around the country enabling us to offer a first class service to our clients. These hubs include London, Glasgow, Dorset and Worcestershire.
We are an independently owned business with many years experience in the carpet and floor covering trade and take pride in the service which we offer to our valued trade and business to business customers, which in turn leads to increased sales with many customer recommendations and referrals. We are pleased to be able to donate regularly to charities including the RNLI and Cancer Research UK.

We offer fast delivery - often next working day - on a wide range of underlays together with other floor covering products, at extremely low prices. Typically, our underlay prices are around just one third of the prices charged in the shops and our carpet gripper is over 90% cheaper than one of the big stores.
